Brandon University

is completing a research initiative to discuss

NATURE BASED SOLUTIONS TO MITIGATE FLOOD RISK

The engagement event is on

Friday, November 24, 2023 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

The purpose of the forum is to discuss nature-based solutions that are being/can be used to mitigate flood risk, especially in the City of Brandon,
in situation of climate-change related high intensity precipitation. These discussions will help us develop a GIS-based model that will inform development
options for reducing the impact of flooding in the built environment.
