Among the many operational challenges busi-nesses
and organizations face, accounting and
technological changes are often in the mix,
and often the two go hand-in-hand. A desire to
help business owners and organizations over-come
these obstacles and simplify day-to-day
operations has become our focal point.
Ginger Fleury-Hunter, Bradley Adams and
Garnet McBurney are the executives behind
Cloudtric Inc., a cloud-based software develop-ment
company. Our goal is to develop and
market software applications for business and
non-profit organizations that are intuitive and
easy to use, making the user experience more
pleasant and efficient. We are committed to
providing the necessary building blocks and
tools which can become the blueprints for
managing your business.
Cloudtric was built on a foundation firmly
set in entrepreneurial experience. Sister
companies Venture Accounting Group Ltd.,
a bookkeeping/consulting firm in Brandon,
technology service firm Prairie IT Services
Ltd., along with previous ownership and
management in a plumbing and heating
company all provide the backdrop for the
strength of Cloudtric. By merging our extensive
assortment of skill sets and unique talents,
coupled with superior customer service,
Cloudtric has set out to change the digital
world. Our company tagline, “Elegantly
Simple Applications; Simply Outstanding
Workability” is meant to speak directly to
our dedication to ease of use, elegance and
efficiency. It’s not just lip service. It’s become
our mission statement.
Developing software that combines practicality
and functionality that is unique to one’s own
business is an art form, like designing and
building, a new home or construction project.
It involves consultation, design and drafting,
calculating and fabricating, and finally, working
out the intricate details of the finished product.
Our initial commercial software release
is faManager, a software application for
tracking, depreciating and budgeting fixed
assets. Accurate asset records are an integral
component of any business or organizations’
balance sheet, but are often neglected. We call
faManager, “the software that every ongoing
business needs, but doesn’t realize they need
it.” It is designed for tracking a few assets or
tens of thousands of assets, and is meant to
replace the tired spreadsheets most companies
use today. Features include serial number and
location tracking, market and/or replacement
value comparisons, time-saving calculations
and automatically prepared journal entries. Our
flagship product is praised by users as being
fast, intuitive and superbly simple to use.
A second product, Praxis MS contains a full
modular suite of applications including job cost
time-keeping for payroll and billing, schedul-ing,
reminders and deadline management, data
vault and calendars.
Fostering a new business relationship in 2019,
Cloudtric and CARM embarked on an exciting
new journey. Between the two organiza-tions,
a design team was formed consisting of
Cloudtric, CARM’s executive director and staff,
and a member-based committee. Extensive
consultation and planning centred around the
development of a new tendering software
platform. The objectives requested by CARM’s
